Checklists
Water, food, medications, first aid, sanitation, power, tools and documents. Each list tells you how much, for how many people, for how long.
Bug In is the most comprehensive home preparedness guide available in an app. Checklists, scenario playbooks, supply tracking and a family plan, informed by Navy SEAL training and FEMA / Ready.gov guidance.
Guidance drawn from Navy SEAL survival training and official FEMA / Ready.gov preparedness recommendations, organized into plans an ordinary household can actually follow.
Bug In is an independent product. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Navy, FEMA or any government agency.
Four tools that work together, so you know what you have, what you're missing and what to do when it matters.
Water, food, medications, first aid, sanitation, power, tools and documents. Each list tells you how much, for how many people, for how long.
Step-by-step playbooks for storms, extended power outages, winter freeze, wildfire smoke, civil unrest, water contamination and more.
Log what's on the shelf, set expiry dates and get reminded before food, water and medicine go bad. Your readiness score updates as you stock up.
Emergency contacts, meeting points, medical notes and a vault for copies of IDs, insurance and prescriptions. Share it with the people in your home.
Each guide opens with what to do in the first ten minutes, then walks you through the hours and days that follow. No signal required.
Every guide, checklist and record is stored on your device. Airplane mode, dead cell tower, cut fibre line: Bug In opens the same way it always does.
Your supplies and family plan sync through your own iCloud or Google account to your tablet and your household's phones. Nothing passes through our servers, because we don't have any.
Bugging in means sheltering at home during an emergency instead of evacuating. For most events, from storms to outages to unrest, staying put in a prepared home is the safer and more comfortable option. Bug In is the plan for doing that well.
Yes. The full guide library and all of your records are stored on the device. The only thing that needs a connection is syncing to your other devices, and that happens automatically the next time you're online.
Sync uses the iCloud or Google account already on your phone. Your data goes from your device to your cloud account to your other devices. Bug In has no servers and no account system, so we never see what you store.
